Located in Winnsboro, South Carolina, this storied property was originally constructed in 1861 as a private residence. In 1924, it was converted into a hotel and opened as the Fairfield Inn. The property was later acquired in 1959 and transformed into the Fairfield Country Club, which operated until closing in 2012. Today, it has been revived as a 16-room boutique hotel anchored by Carlisle’s, its upscale signature restaurant.
